Doug is happily married to Di and they have three wonderful sons, Keaton, Hudson and Jordan. He works at the South African Theological Seminary (SATS) for three days a week. He also a Strategy Coach and Consultant. His passion is to help people grow as disciples in order to reach others for Jesus who in turn help them grow as disciples of Jesus.
Norman is happily married to Elize and has two beautiful daughters Dominique and Maxine. Jesus is head of their home, and as a family they are dedicated to our Lord and Father.
As a couple Norman and Elize have run the Agape Home Cell Group at their home for many years and their heart is for those experiencing trouble within their marriage relationships. They have been called to the ministry of restoration of marriages centred in Jesus.
Norman has been involved in the retail business world for many years. He also finds his calling is to be a light in the business world for Jesus, reaching out and touching lives for Jesus by being the hands and feet of Jesus and walking the talk.
Jennifer Wilson (known as Jenny) has been working as the secretary for Chartwell Village Church (mornings only) since the 1st of July 2012. Her family consists of three wonderful daughters and son-in-laws, who have blessed her with seven precious grandchildren, (“And all of us love and serve Jesus”). She is also Granny to five other young adults & children.
She has various responsibilities summarised as follows:
General administration of the church. Team Leader for Ladies Ministry.
Communication to the congregation via email, telephone or sms regarding various meetings, important announcements.
Bookkeeping and presenting the month-end reports to the Elders. Uploading of the Sermons and Events and General Maintenance of the Church Website
Compiling the Church Roster and maintaining it for the team serving at our Sunday Services. Communication to the congregation regarding Prayer Requests and Follow-ups on answered prayer.
Composition of the weekly church bulletin.
Preparation every week for the Sunday Service – notifying the team who will be serving.
Jenny’s heart is for ladies and especially those who need encouragement in the valleys of their life. She used to do a lot of counseling, but God has changed her season slightly and she now has a “coffee ministry” whereby “I love to listen and love those who need to offload confidentially”.
She believes God has given her a talent to be a vessel of His grace and minister in love and encouragement as well as giving practical help to those who are either terminally ill or who have a terminally ill loved one.
